Peppermint!
My concentration is compound words. For example peppermint. Pepper+Mint=Peppermint. And creating them in a way that displays their humor.

I believe the underlying message of the artists work is that he takes out his frustration and chaos of life into his paintings. Paull uses lots of color and abstractedness in her work which creates visual coherence. He also uses texture, line, and movement in his work which creates it to be interesting.

Along with Schildmeyer, Nicole Smith takes the average human day items and paints them to the extreme. But you can definitely tell she has a sweet tooth for most of her paintings are of candy and sweets. I believe she uses symmetry to her advantage. She centers many of her pieces and uses thing in odds. She uses a lot of color as well as emphasis.

I believe the underlying purpose of her work is to find simple pleasures in an average day. Whether it may be three scrumptious pears to a beautiful field. But taking these normal views she puts her own twist on them making them her own.Schildmeyer's color use creates visual coherence for she adds all the colors throughout her paintings. Summer, miss you already.
Taking pictures this summer was really fun, because it forced me to go places I wouldn't usually have gone to take pictures. Like I went to the Oregon Fair, and Hugh's Water Garden. I spread many of my picture taking outings throughout the summer, but happened to take many of them last minute -_- I enjoyed thinking of new settings to take my pictures, and I loved taking close-up pictures because it was fun to see something normal and take a close up pic and realizing how beautiful it really is.
